I know this is kind of late in the process to be uploading a README file but I have done it anyway.
As suggested by Gil, I updated this file with section 2 to include the procedure that he put out earlier in this forum, under the thread VLC x264 GCC profiling The README file is in the repository /oc-h264-encoder/oc-h264-encoder/trunk/doc/x264_profiling |

in the ./configure command on should add --disable-asm and remove --enable-debug //burra |
